Watch Your Mouth!

Proverbs 31:26 - She openeth her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness. I've been meditating on this scripture a lot lately. (I guess the Holy Spirit has had occasion to keep bringing it to my mind.) What comes out when we open up our mouth women? Is what we are saying wise or is it just foolish words, sarcasm, whatever pops in our head at the moment, words that are spoken out of anger, resentment, bitterness?
Law of kindness - law according to Webster means a rule, that which governs. Do you have rules for yourself about what you can and cannot say? Is one of those rules that it has to be kind? Do you desire to be a Provers 31 woman? You better watch what comes out of your mouth!

  3. Looks like you got a lovely blog going here!
I just found you through Domestically Inclined.
Isn't it so exciting to start a blog?!!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful scripture and dictionary definition. How true.... we do indeed need to watch and pray before we speak....how often I have not done this, but I pray that the Lord would give me more grace to do so!! Another powerful scripture is....."Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."- Proverbs 18:21
    Hmm, much to think about!;)
I look forward to visiting you again.

    Many Blessings,
    Miss Jen

So nice to meet you,and welcome to blogging. I have not been blogging very long either about 5 months, but I enjoy it so much. The reason that I started blogging was to meet christian women and for us to be able to share with each other.

Thank you for sharing this scripture, too many times I have spoken before I thought.
    blessings,
