A Soldiers Valentine Welcome

This morning we picked up my youngest son Ryan at the airport. He's on leave from Baghdad. I was not expecting the great welcome from the citizens of America. It was very moving. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, representatives from local churches, schools, veterans, and family members were there with shouts of "Welcome Home!", "USA", "Thanks!", with patriotic music, gifts, and valentines. Needless to say I'm excited to have him home again and ever so proud to be an American.

  1. How great that your son arrived home today!
He must of been pretty excited about his warm welcome.
What a wonderful Valentine gift and blessing!!! ;)

    Love in Christ,
    Miss Jen

  2. Thank you for your sacrifice as a soldiers family. And I thank your son for his great sacrifice for our country. I have the greatest respect for our service men and women. Thank You!!!

  3. I'd like to offer my thanks to Ryan for protecting and defending our country and to you for the sacrifice you make as his mother. Thank you and God bless you both!
